I realized I never "drawn something then post it the same day" as often as I have done before... well, here's one drawn just now!

Been talking with my sister lately... and she's been playing the re-release of Persona for the PSP... well, let's say one thing: the original Persona was a very early inspiration on my art, period.

See, we were original Persona players [circa 2000], forget the PS2 releases - it was all about the original ones for the PSX... heheheh!

So here's me, drawing my favorite females from the first, and oh yes, there WILL be a boys version! XD

The original Persona was my first taste of the MegaTen series in general, so it gives me warm fuzzies when other people remember it.

Same here. Give me THESE games back! Innocent Sin is the one I love the most, too. Most of my Personae memories lie with that game... [Eikkiiichiiii~]

sweeet -- I remember you being big on persona back in the day : ) This is cool to see. You've given each gal such a sharp dynamic and confidence... also you used the lighting so tightly -adds a nice crisp sense and style! Great!!

You don't mess with these ladies, not one bit. X3 I love the dramatic lighting, it makes them look so edgy. I can't wait to see the guys!

To think, I'd have probably never known about Persona if not for you two!

I know! X3 I still have the pictures you sent along when you drew the Katsuya and Baofu piece for me (and I still love them). It's so fun to reminisce (sp?).

Nicely done. I've considered trying to play Persona 1, but I bought Persona 3 and can't make myself go through it. I really don't need a "high school simulator"... Fighting parts are awesome though.

But like I said, nicely done. Great job on the shadows.

If you hate Persona 3, you'd LOVE the first one.
The 3rd one was basically created for those ANIMU people who wanted a japanese highschool without complication. Haa, that's only how I feel about it... ^^
I didn't like 3 at all really, the only saving grace were the title's main "villians", the group called Strega. Other than parts and fights they were involved in, I actually didn't even play the game at all. Cept for watching the ending. But yeah, sad right?

The original Persona and especially Persona 2 [Innocent Sin, and Eternal Punishment] I cannot praise more. They are LEAGUES ahead of the later releases of the Persona games... They are the epitome of the artstyle and playstyle for RPG's that I adore, ADORE... hehehe.
Plus, it's inspired my art greatly... I adore Kazuma Kaneko more than any artist. ^^

So what you're saying is that the earlier games have more dungeon crawling, monster fights, and RPGing? I'm interested in this! I would agree that 3 is for animu heads... since my most animu-headed friend in the world highly recommended it (no offence to him, its only a matter of tastes!). I'm about a 4 in the 1-10 animu-head scale, 10 being OMG SO KAWAII, so naturally I'm kind of bored with certain parts.

Perhaps I shall pick up the PSP Persona 1, I hear it fixes many problems that the original had. As for characters and art style, I can already tell Persona is excellent at portraying individuals. Eventually, I will squash the rumor that "No-one beats Atlus games"!!

Thanks for the words of advice! Keep on doing good drawings like you do! :P

hahahahah! Yeah, the first one was definitally more of a dungeon crawler... I mean, there is the sense of those "high school" games, but there's no relationships to work on to power up your Personae rank! You just... level them up! and fusion~

hahhhaa... if we were rating me on that scale, I'd be just a meager half of an ANIMU head of ten. It's not that I don't LIKE what is considered "anime", I mean, I ADORE older anime and manga [Ranma, Oh! My Goddess, Slayers, etc.] but it's just... the newer stuff is just SO GENERIC. And there is a definite lacking of a real style for most of these artists... it's sooooo sad. hahah!

I highly reccomend it, definitally, especially with the addition of the Snow Queen questline that was ommited from the original PSX release. So far it sounds haaard... Well, at least how my sister is playing it! Heh.

Heh, I actually dislike Persona 3&4 [have yet to play 4, though~]
But I'm not a fan of the new artist... call me a purist, but Kazuma Kaneko will be the true "Persona" artist to me... hehehe.

Persona 1 and Persona 2 [Innocent Sin & Eternal Punishment] are the best titles in the series, other than the others' released for Dreamcast/PSX/PS2 [Like the Devil Summoner series] that I haven't played. Hee.

It's probably just me,but i thought Persona 1 and 2 were harder to beat than 3.I agree with you though, the original artist was better.

Oh, they definitally WERE, though! I hate it when game makers, especially when they're brought over to the US, make games EASIER like we're all morons or something? hahahaha.
Persona 2: Innocent Sin was definitally the hardest, but that was mainly because my sister and I played it raw japanese.. hee hee!

Yeah i don't get why they make games easier overseas.
although it was the other way around with Crisis Core,we got a hard mode(that wasn't really that hard...)
