The Influence Map

Here is mine, and yes I cheated just a bit... why? Because I wanted to... hehe.
I'll explain some of them, largest areas first:

Akihiko Yoshida: If I could marry this man right now, I would. Yoshida's fine eye for armor designs made me fall in love with his art the very moment I saw it. I will play every video game that he designs characters for, only for the sad sake that, even if the game itself is terrible - I know I will have my eye candy. ♥
Naoko Takeuchi: I think that she is on everyone's influence map who was born some time in the early 80's. I think most of my body structure comes from her... hence why my ladies have extra long limbs~
Kosuke Fujishima: How could you NOT see the influence of this artists in my work? If a drew a character with hair - there it is. I was in dire LOVE with how Fujishima drew hair... it was just so beautiful, so I came to study it.
Akira Toriyama: How could I not love the man - he taught me how to draw muscles. And aliens. And angry men. And slimes... oh the slimes...
Breath of Fire III: I think somehow I must have eaten a piece of the artist for Capcom's [Tatsuya Yoshikawa] brain... I think my methods for crafting characters comes directly from my influence from this gaming era.
Yoshitaka Amano: Ever since my first foray into a series called Final Fantasy, the 4th installment caught my attention with the wispy art style of Yoshitaka Amano. I've been in love ever since.
Alphonse Mucha: During my time in Europe I was exposed to a lot of classic painters - and Mucha's beautiful and realistic paintings of these gorgeous full sized wimmen caught my attention hardcore.
James Waterhouse: When I lived in good ol' Deutschland [ages 10~13], during a school field trip to a museum - I saw quite possibly the most beautiful rendition of sirens ever... I fell in love with this classic painter.
The Legend of Zelda Series: Longtime fan of the Zelda series, but I wasn't particularly moved until I played Majora's Mask, to this day my favorite Zelda title.
Shadow of the Colossus: This is one of the more newer inspirations, and it's only because I was so immensely moved by this game in it's art direction, and the way it was presented.
The Silent Hill Series: In both music, and the gritty visuals, the Silent Hill Series calls to my disgusting inner self.
My Garden: Working in my garden daily relieves my stresses and exhilarates my own being - and my stomach. Yes, I am an avid gardener and I aim usually to have at least 30% of my daily dinner meals be home grown.
Food: In particular, Cha chang myun, my absolute favorite Korean ramen. Mmm.
