The Late Night Raiders
My raidgroup in World of Warcraft. I've been with them for awhile now... and early this year [January, 2006] I wanted to work on an image of everyone to sort of give as a gift to everyone for people awesome friends... so this is the final result... TEN months later, and I am finished. I've been working on this image on-an-off for the first eight months... and started to crank up the work in September... It contains over 58 characters within the raidgroup... some new... some old... some that has even left the group... but they're still cherished. This was completely done in Painter 7... the time? I don't even want to think about it... Each character was done seperately... I did not do the lineart all in one shot... each character was worked on at a time... thats why some of the art looks slightly different from the rest of the image... And each characters's looks are accurate up to their armor... although not current armor, but from when I worked on that particular character... A larger-non-compressed version of this image will appear on my website. I worked long and hard on this image, and I am VERY happy to see it finally done.. Comments are greatly appreciated, but not critiques... They're not needed. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. you manage to do the amazing groupshots I only can imagine doing. *_* I can honestly see why this took ages to complete, and that time and effort definately paid off. Seriously, this looks incredible and eye catching.
And i am silly and my eyes went RIGHT to the bear-druid. 9_9;; /nerd
I've got to say that I'm not a huge fan of official WoW art, but your fanart always makes me want to go back to the game.
