Artist's Comments  • • • • • • • • • • • • Drawn: June 7th, 2009 Program: Pen & Painter IX From: Various; Final Fantasy IV/4, VI/6, & XII/12 • • • • • • • • • • • • This is the cover for "Trick Stars", a Final Fantasy fan comic/doujinshi that I had for sale at Anime Next 09'. I'm not sure if I will sell copies outside of the convention... I'll have to see! Anyway - it is 40 pages long, and contained all original content aside from the fact that it is a parody of the games' main stories... It is sort of a, "What if..." parody... what if things that happened, happened... but DIFFERENTLY? It is very, VERY silly. Anyway, the cover featured just me being silly: Characters from said games dressed as eachother - regardless of gender. Terra as Vaan? Sure. Basch as Gau? Ok. Gogo as Rosa? WHUT? Hehe. Sample pages of the comic will be available, but I am not going to put the comic online for awhile... Please keep your comments about the illustration. Art by Donna Brown.
