Lunaire?!
Yep! It's my submission for Game-Art-HQ's "Turn Good 2 Evil - Evil 2 Good Contest" contest!

Some info on the character of Solaire, whom Lunaire is based off of:
He is one of the first 'undead' that you meet in the game. He also gives you the abilitiy to, and assists you with defeating the major bosses throughout the game by being summoned to help you.
Dialogue in-game, along with a funny tidbit at the end.

I wanted to do something that was not only fun for me to do, but be a fairly new title done for this contest!

So thinking of all the characters I could do...
Hmm... Praise the - moon?
I turned the jolly ol' Solaire, to his evil counterpart... Lunaire.
He wears a moon tabard, uses the Moonlight Straight Sword, Darkness-bolts, and wears spikes. Cuz' spikes are evil. Heh.
forgive me it's so colorful...

If you follow the lore of the game, the moon is associated with femininity. Not to spoil too much for people, there already is a character in the game that can be considered the anti-thesis of Solaire, though he/she/it is not called Lunaire.

I'm happy for your insight, but this was just done for a contest and to be silly - I am not insinuating anything nor trying to make anything cannon from this illustration. ^w^;;

I also thank you SO MUCH for actually watching your spoilers, sadly other's haven't done that and I've been spoilt for most of the game, but as of right now I have beat it, so I already know most of the game... ^^
[And you are referring to Dark Sun Gwendolyn, right? I can't wait to draw him/her/it... heh~]
