Copying artwork then selling it for profitnote: Please, if you're going to debate, be courteous and have basic manners, and not turn this into a typical internet argument.Copying artwork then selling it for profit by Qinni
I'll probably delete this if this blows up badly, since I just want to iterate this one thing; so please, be courteous.
I didn't think I needed to address this at all, actually, but here we are. Please also note, I'm not here to debate with you (edit: Unless you have read all of this very carefully and not just skimmed it like some of you debaters are doing). If you think that it's okay to copy or redraw and then sell the copied art, that's great, please take it up in your own journal or maybe even the forums; i'm sure you'll find a lot of people to debate with there . There's been drama a'brewin' somewhere, don't bring it here, because my issue isn't with the artist in question anymore (for the most part...), but rather with the fans (some who are decent artists themselves so i'm more baffled about that) who think tha
Concerning Commissions:So I've been getting messages/notes lately about when I will be reopening my commissions.
Therefore I will address it here, and later on I will address it on my Tumblr...
I was, in fact, going to reopen commissions in February, then it moved onto March. Well, now it's March and I'm still not open...
There are factors that reason as to why, ones that I don't want to really discuss publicly at this time.
[if you follow my Twitter, and are particularly clever... you've probably already figured it out.]
But for right now, at least what I'm expecting, is that in about two or three weeks I'll start to feel better.
So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be true, and if/then I am feeling better... THE COMMISSIONS WILL COMMENCE!
For those asking me on a near-constant basis... the BEST way to see when I'm opening commissions is following me on Twitter, Tumblr, or... here!
Also, just to inform and get people ready: I will be far more stricter about my commission process, mainly about giving me information about the commission piece in general...
I've gotten too many lackluster references and vague ideas of what people wanted, and it has caused what would normally be a two to five day-ish commission into a process that is two WEEKS long.
[I recommend having your information and references ready saved on a file, that way when the form goes online you can just copy-paste it into the fields. EZ PZ.]
Also, prices are going up.
